The safety shoes "XELERATE KNIT LOW" from the URBAN PROTECT series by PUMA® are the ideal companions for work with a lot of movement on hard surfaces. The hard-wearing SAFETY KNIT® upper material, in combination with the breathable inner lining, offers excellent air circulation. This is supported by the absorbent and anatomically shaped insole. The outsole of the work shoes is made of hard-wearing nitrile rubber and has a flat indoor profile that offers you the best grip. The soft EVA midsole is equipped with the IdCell cushioning element, which softly cushions your step on hard surfaces.
The work shoes are in accordance with EN ISO 20345awarded security class S1P. The outsole is resistant to oils and fuels and has an antistatic pre-treatment. According to the HRO certificate, the outsole offers heat resistance of up to 300°C for around 60 seconds without deforming. In addition, the sole is equipped with increased slip resistance on smooth ceramic and steel floors in accordance with the SRC certificate. A wide toe cap made of fiberglass and the metal-free FAP® penetration protection, which significantly increases the freedom of movement of the sole, ensure the necessary safety. Wearers of orthopedic insoles can also use the shoes according to DGUV 112-191 .
